Jake and the Never Land Pirates Holiday Episode

All things Disney have become very popular in our household. The girls just love Mickey and friends and the Disney Princesses. Although I really like them too, there is one show in particular I really enjoy watching with them, and that is Jake and the Never Land Pirates!

Jake and the Never Land Pirates

There is just something about seeing my baby run around the house looking like this…

Or having Soleil reply with, “Aye, Aye, Captain Mommy!” whenever I ask her to do something.

Since launching in February, Disney Junior has grown widely popular, with Jake and the Never Land Pirates being cable’s #1 series for boys 2-5 years old, which is why my husband likes it. He wants to make sure the girls are well-rounded and aren’t just into girly things, like the Disney princesses. Jake and the Never Land Pirates is actually among one of the most co-viewed preschool series, with 45% of moms watching with their preschooler. I am in that 45% because I just love Jake, Izzy and Cubby.

A special holiday episode, titled It’s A Winter Never Land!/Hook on Ice, will be premiering tomorrow Friday, December 2 at 830am EST/PST on the Disney Channel. This episode will be filled with fun and adventure as Jake, Izzy and Cubby awake to find that Peter Pan has left the crew some presents and a tree to celebrate Winter Treasure Day, and Captain Hook invites Jake and the crew on a winter treasure hunt! Here is a little clip for you to enjoy:

So don’t forget to tune it tomorrow with your little one!

Disclosure: I received a Jake and the Never Land Pirates package in exchange for sharing the Jake and the Never Land Pirates Holiday episode, courtesy of Disney Channel. Opinions here are my own.

My son ADORES this show! And I like watching it with him too. He assigned himself as Jake. And he’s got the whole pirate face down! He closes one eye, makes his hand into a hook, and says “Aargh!”. I love it! Thanks for the heads up on tomorrow’s episode!
